From an early age Belinda has had a strong interest and passion for Theatre. She pursued this in the forms of dance and drama, and attended English National Ballet School; she also continued to develop her self in drama and acting skills at The City Lit and the Actors Centre.
During her training she started to develop her own work and created a solo Masked and a group piece Enclosed shown at ENBS Galas. Shortly after graduating she choreographed The Hunt a short film shown at BAFTA cinema and volcano film festival.
After training she had a full career performing extensively in many aspects of theatre including, Classical & contemporary dance, musicals, film, TV and choreography. As her career developed she started to combine both acting and dance and worked with Mathew Bourne in New Adventures, in which she was involved in the creative process, choreographing and performing lead roles in many productions such as Swan Lake, Cinderella, The Car Man, Nutcracker and Play Without Words all of which have won Tony Awards and Evening standard awards.
Four years ago she co-founded Bea THEATRE an exciting new dance theatre company. The work that she created with Bea THEATRE was narrative and very visual. Belinda Directed Ruby and The Big, which toured 7 southwest venues including the Egg Children’s theatre in Bath and The Place. At The Robin Howard London. Belinda also Co-devising physical theatre piece “The Maids” which was shown in its early stages at BAC and Phoenix Theatre, Exeter.
In 2006 She was awarded a place on the Young Directors Programme supported by John Retallack- Company of Angels and directed a physical theatre piece Pandora’s box.

She has used the fellowship to develop herself further in puppetry, combining voice, movement and clowning with Phillip Gaulier, Guy Dartnell, Keith Johnston and London School of Puppetry. Winning the Arts Fellowship has been a driving force for Belinda to set up “Bound 2B Theatre” which is committed to working with members of the community, involving them in regular workshops / Youth Programmes, and giving them the opportunity to experience high quality theatre.
“Bound 2B Theatre” has been supported by the Flavel Arts Centre in Dartmouth, where the company run its youth programme, and has been given a Residency at the Corn Exchange in Newbury to continue work on The Night Time Whisperers.
Catherine trained as a dancer at Arts Ed, London and was a member of National Youth Dance Company working with choreographers such as Matthew Bourne, Mark Bruce and Shobana Jeyasingh. She went on to perform with various independent dance companies both in the UK and abroad. She recently completed an MA in acting at Central School of Speech and Drama and has since been cast as the lead in a feature film while also taking part in a number of other film projects.
After training at Central School of Ballet, London, Chris joined Matthew Bourne and his Adventures in Motion Pictures, dancing Swan Lake at the Dominion Theatre. He performed the role of the Prince on the European tour 2000 and later at Sadler's Wells and on the Asian & Australian tour. He also danced in The Car Man at the Old Vic.
In 2001, he was invited to join George Piper Dances, when the company was founded. Here he danced with and under the direction of Michael Nunn and William Trevitt, at the Roundhouse and Southbank Centre. He danced in numerous works including Steptext by William Forsythe.
From 2002 - 2004 he was engaged at the Gothenburg Ballet, Sweden, dancing roles in ballets such as Sechs Tanze and Petite Mort by Jiri Kylian and in Nacho Duato's 'Duende'. He created roles in Jo Kanamori's Side in /Side out, a trio adaptation of L'apres-midi d'un Faun and Orjan Andersson's Les Noces. Other repertoire included Nutcracker, Martino Muller's Romeo and Juliet, Ballet Pathetique by Jorma Outinen and ballets by Nicolo Fonte.
In 2005, Chris joined Ballet Biarritz, where he toured throughout the world dancing in Thierry Malandain's, Mozart Ballets, Les Sang des Etoiles, Spanish in Nutcracker, created a role in Don Juan and took soloist parts in Cigale and Les Creatures, the latter performed at the Joyce Theatre, New York.
Chris has performed at the final of the Hannover Choreographic Competition, created two pieces at The Place, London and premiered his first site-specific commission ‘Rain Check’ for Atelier at the music room, London, critically acclaimed by The Times and Metro newspapers.
In 2007 he was awarded a grant for the arts from Essex County Council. Chris is presently performing in Mathew Bourne's “Dorian Gray”
